Feeding People with Modern Techniques
Technological and scientific advances in agriculture has freed man from a mere basic existence to a life of ease and luxury. Unlike the caveman, today's human being need not struggle hard to find food. Modern agriculture has made farming a minor part in the overall scheme of things because today, one farmer can feed 20 people due to modern techniques of growing crops and raising cattle and also fish hybrids in fish ponds.
Early agriculture was subject to the vagaries of nature and methods were so primitive that one farmer can barely feed himself and his family. Vast strides in agricultural science has produced genetically-altered crops that yield more in shorter time and genetically-modified farm animals like cows that produce better-tasting beef and prodigious amounts of milk.
